Mary Ann Miller

Mary Ann Miller, a “cradle Episcopalian,” is a retired art educator and practicing artist. She, along with her husband, Gary, have been active at St. Andrew’s since 2004. She has co-organized several Women’s Retreats and has done artwork for the church, including the drawing of St. Andrew’s which was on the front of the bulletin. In her former life, she was a nurse; in her future life she’d like to be a marine biologist.

Mary Ann loves to travel and has written and illustrated several books. Though retired, she teaches Travel and Cafe Sketching classes as well as art with groups of special needs adults.

She and Gary have two grown sons and two grandchildren. A daughter with Down syndrome died in 2007 and is buried in our Memorial Garden.

Mary Ann gratefully accepted the job as Shepherd because she loves people and is looking forward to an opportunity to serve.
