Betty Pettigrew
Pastoral Care

Betty Pettigrew has been a member of St. Andrew’s for 23 years.  She and David married at St. Luke's Episcopal Mission (now St. Luke's Episcopal Church) on University Blvd. in 1962.  They have two daughters and 4 grandchildren.  Following David's career transfers, they were members of Episcopal churches in Ormond Beach, Florida, Charlottesville, Virginia, and Hilliard, Florida.  They moved back to Jacksonville in 1986 and joined St. Andrew’s, where they had chaperoned teen dances in the 1960's.

Betty has been involved in business and politics over the years.  She owned a florist shop and a catering business for 22 years.  Since coming to St. Andrew’s, she has served on the Vestry, Kitchen Renovation Committee,  and the Salzbacher Committee serving their very first meal and monthly thereafter for several years.

Enjoying her semi-retirement, she spends time as a caregiver and looks forward to being of service whenever possible and maybe do a little traveling.
